Need a board? We offer rentals, with surfboards and other equipment handcrafted by Willy of @kresalasurfboards – who is not only the founder and host of Casa Kresala, but also the creative mind behind our kitchen. His passion goes far beyond surfing: it finds its way onto every plate he serves. Willy crafts dishes with a unique Mediterranean–Peruvian fusion, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The menu is mostly vegetarian, but often features the day’s freshest fish or seafood, always prepared with care and creativity.
Kresala has its origin in the Basque language, referring to the sea salt carried by the ocean breeze, infusing everything around it with its unique scent. But beyond its literal meaning, Kresala symbolizes the deep connection between people and the sea — that constant flow back and forth that links the land to the ocean. Everything drifts toward the sea, and everything returns, carrying with it a quiet sense of peace and belonging.
More Than Just a Place to Stay
Casa Kresala is not only about surfing and great food — it’s also about community. Through our small NGO, @handsandsurf_peru, founded by Willy, we support local children and young
people. Beyond surf lessons, we aim to provide experiences that foster learning, growth, and personal development. Our goal is to give them moments of joy and freedom, helping them step out of
their daily routine and discover new opportunities.
